Natural Edge Mesquite Table

Natural Edge Mesquite Table

This is a natural edge Mesquite dining room table I made for a friends cabin. It is made from 8/4 Texas Mesquite with Mesquite logs as it legs. The most challenging part was to get the aprons to match up with the crooked legs. Not a square side any where. I mortised the aprons into the legs then set with screws. Lots of epoxy on this job which is typical for mesquite. The finish 4 coats of a sprayed satin Waterlox, then hand rubbed with 0000 steel wool and wax. It came out really well. It is a heavy table and something that you don’t want to moved around much.
